FAQs

Q: How steep of an angle can I cut with the Malco TSPC1?
A: Malco TSPC1 users can make up to a 45° angle relative to the
perpendicular. See the instruction manual for additional information
Q: Why do my cutting disc looks dull after cutting?
A: The cutting teeth at times will fill with debris and appear dull when
filled. Use a wire brush to clean the cutting teeth.
Q: How do I know when to replace my Malco TSPC1 cutting wheels?
A: First check the gap between the cutting wheels and ensure it is properly
adjusted. If the wheels are properly adjusted and the product does not pull
itself through the material when cutting or an excessive burr is left when cutting,
you should replace the cutting wheels.
Q: What do I do if the bolt holding the upper cutting disc on my Malco TSPC1 loosens?
A: Retighten the bolt to a snug fit after applying a medium strength thread locker.
Note, please be aware that this bolt needs to be removed during cutting wheel replacement.
Q: What do I do if my Malco TSPC1 tends to move left while cutting?
A: Tilt the tool to the right to counter the natural pull of the tool.
Q: What do I use the hex key attached to the arms of my Malco TSPC1 for?
A: This hex key is intended for use on our other Turboshear products and is not intended
for use with the TSPC1.
