A: Adjusting the scale to the correct setting based on the Malco duct
board cutting tool you are using simplifies the offsets required to layout
the duct work.
Q: Can I layout lines for the side of the duct board cutting tools with the DTSQ?
A: If you prefer to layout the side of the tool, you will need to use the offsets
advertised with the duct board cutting tools, using a tape measure rather than
the scale at the base of the tool.
Q: Can the DTSQ and offset table work with competitor tools?
A: No, the scale and offset table for the DTSQ are engineered to work with the
Malco Duct Board Tools. We would recommend using the tool as a square only
in this situation using a tape measure to layout cut lines.
Q: I lost the wing nuts for my DTSQ, what size wing nuts do I need to replace them with?
A: We recommend locally sourcing replacement wing nuts with a 10-24 thread.
