PipeLounge® Joining clips (PLJ) are used to connect two or more PipeLounge® brackets horizontally on strut systems. They are designed to hold the brackets together during alignment and positioning prior to final installation.

Q: What is Pipelounge?
A: Pipelounge is an innovative multiple pipe support system without the need for strut. It has been developed to cushion and
allow for the expansion and contraction of insulated pipe.
Q: Can Pipelounge support more than insulated refrigerant lines?
A: Pipelounge was developed for HVACR insulated refrigerant lines. Malco has not evaluated this product for other uses.
Q: How do pipe lounge pieces connect together?
A: Pipelounge can be connected horizontally using our Joining Clips for additional width. They can also stack vertically when
space is at a premium.
Q: When should I use packers and joining clips?
A: Packers: Packers are used when installing Pipelounge on strut. They are designed to sit between the strut and Pipelounge
high side mounting tab and assist in a secure mount; they are also made in a bright color to allow the installer to recognize
the installation is complete.
Joining Clips: Joining clips are used when joining two or more Pipelounge brackets horizontally on strut. They are designed to
assist in keeping the brackets together whilst positioning into their final location.
Q: What material are the Pipelounge made of?
A: PC/ABS, which is a non-halogenated flame-resistant material
Q: Are the Pipelounge products plenum rated for the 25/50 smoke rating requirement in return air spaces?
A: No, the Pipelounge products are not currently plenum rated, though they are made of non-halogenated (non-toxic) PC+ABS.
Pipelounge products meet UL94 classification.
