Malco Tools Supports Trade Education at 2023 SkillsUSA TECHSPO

Stop by Booth #228 for demos of Malco’s leading professional-grade tools

Malco Tools, one of the nation’s leading solution developers and manufacturers of a variety of high-quality tools for the building trades, will be showing its support for trade education at the 2023 SkillsUSA TECHSPO, June 20-22, in Atlanta, Booth #228.

The TECHSPO takes place during the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, the largest career and technical education expo in the United States. During the event, more than 6,000 middle, high school and college students who previously won state contests will compete in trade, technical and leadership competitions to test competencies in their field.

Malco has a long-standing tradition of supporting trade and vocational education and development, and have sponsored in-kind donations of tool kits for each of the state winners in the Sheet Metal category, as well as prize donations for the national competitions.

“Malco has long been a proud sponsor of the SkillsUSA competitions, which aim to expand skills development for the next generation of trade professionals,” said Rich Benninghoff, president and CEO of Malco Tools. “Congratulations to all of the state and national-level winners who are already advancing excellence in the trades at a young age – we look forward to seeing you at the TECHSPO!”

At Booth #228, Malco will host a variety of live demos of its professional-grade products for sheet metal applications, including its modular Metal Benders by Malco, leading Heavy-Duty TurboShears and TurboCrimper, new Offset Andy Snip, award-winning C-RHEX SAWTOOTH and more.

Every year, Malco donates more than $160,000 of in-kind products and apparel to a variety of skilled trade education programs, competitions and events across the country. Malco also coordinates its own “Head of the Class” Student Recognition Program for high-achieving students and entire graduating classes in the HVAC/sheet metal, building construction and autobody repair fields, along with scholarships for high school students in its local community who are going into the trades.

“Today more than ever, Malco understands and appreciates the growing need for and importance of qualified and skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen in our workforce – we’re very proud to provide support for students pursuing these skills and careers,” Benninghoff added.
