Supporting the Trades
At Malco, we strongly believe in the importance of supporting and nurturing the next generation of tradespeople, and did so in 2023 through our signature Head of the Class program, and partnering with SkillsUSA.
Head of the Class
Every year since 2005, we recognize outstanding students graduating from career education programs with our Head of Class Program. Each student receives “Head of the Class” honors and tool prizes, and their entire class gets some SWAG. Through this program, we continue to serve schools annually to ensure we’re at the forefront of skill development.
SkillsUSA TECHSPO
We were pleased to be able to attend the 2023 SkillsUSA TECHSPO, where we proudly supported and participated in showcasing the importance of skill development and ongoing education within the trades. Read more
Giving Back Locally
We care deeply about the communities we’re a part of and are always eager to get involved with deserving organizations in the areas around our headquarters in Annandale, Minnesota. Together, our team raised, collected, and donated:
- 272 pounds of food donations for the Annandale and Kimball food shelves
- Donated office supplies to the Veteran Resource & Enrichment Center in St. Cloud
- $1,200 for the Wounded Warrior Project, Lions Club, C.A.S.T. for Kids, and True Friends through our Pay It Forward campaign
- Provided free trees to associates to plant in honor of Arbor Day
- Raised $4,100+ during Local Cause Week for the 180 Degrees Youth Shelter
- 592 pieces of winter clothing for Project Stand Down in St. Cloud
- Thousands of dollars of in-kind products to deserving organizations and hundreds of hours of volunteer time!

One of the year’s highlights was how many new, top-of-the-line products we launched in the HVAC space, and expanding our offerings for the RSG industry.
Metal Roofing Benders
Our new modular metal benders, Metal Benders by Malco, were the first product launched in our new line of roofing tools, which have been a hit in the metal roofing field. We have since expanded the line to include 2-Station Benders, Disc Benders, and Power-Assisted Seamers and Cutters. See the line
